Introduction
The TOC-L series utilizes Shimadzu’s globally recognized 680°C combustion catalytic oxidation method.
It offers an ultra-wide measurement range from 4 μg/L to 30,000 mg/L, and achieves a detection limit of 4 μg/L when paired with an NDIR (Non-Dispersive Infrared) detector.
This represents the highest detection sensitivity achievable using the combustion catalytic oxidation method.
Furthermore, this method is efficient at oxidizing easily decomposable low-molecular-weight organic compounds, and is also capable of oxidizing refractory (hard-to-decompose), insoluble, and macromolecular organic compounds.
